1. Terms

By accessing this website, you are agreeing to be bound by this website's Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws, and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use a License

  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Dulles Glass' website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:
    • modify or copy the materials;

7. Site Terms of Use Modifications

Dulles Glass may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

8. Governing Law

Any claim relating to the Dulles Glass website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

9. Quote Validity

This quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and includes measurements, fabrication, delivery, and installation, unless stated otherwise. This proposal will be incorporated into any future agreements related to the project.

10. Working Hours

Our proposed price covers working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Any work outside these hours may incur an additional charge.

11. Field Measurement and Installation

The proposed price includes one trip each for Field Measurement and Installation. Any additional trips due to project area issues will incur an extra charge of $390.00 per trip.

12. Measurement Discrepancies

In the event of measurement discrepancies, the final quote may change subject to your approval. If opening dimensions are changed after Dulles Glass measurement is completed resulting in any installation issues or panels needing to be re-fabricated/hardware changes there will be additional charges.

13. Exclusions

Any items not specifically listed and priced in this proposal are not included. This encompasses elements such as testing, engineering, permits, demolition, electrical wiring, temporary barricades or board ups, final protection and cleaning, glass and mirror breakage caused by others and certain hardware.

14. Lead Times

Lead times for outsourced items are based on supplier and manufacturer information and may change without notice. DG is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers and manufacturers.

15. Appointment Confirmation and Cancellation

Once the delivery/installation appointment is confirmed, kindly provide at least one business day's notice for cancellation to avoid scheduling delays. If canceling or rescheduling, please contact Dulles Glass for approvals and changes to the schedule. The Contractor/Owner is responsible for coordinating with various contractors and notifying Dulles Glass of any changes. The site conditions must be ready before Dulles Glass begins work, and failure to do so may result in additional costs for remobilization.

16. Preparing the Space

Please ensure that the area is sound, level, true, and plumb before DG takes measurements.

17. Modifications and Additional Charges

If existing obstructions need to be removed or the structure needs to be modified or corrected for installation, DGM reserves the right to require the customer to modify before measuring the work area. If this action results in an installation time increase and/or reschedule, there may be additional charges.

18. Installation Precautions

To avoid potential issues, it is recommended to refrain from installing glass directly onto drywall walls or decorative glass tiles in the shower door attachment area. The customer assumes responsibility for any resulting issues.

19. Existing Materials

While DG will remove existing materials as specified for a designated fee, any resulting damage or exposure is not DG's responsibility. Additional trips due to these issues will incur a charge of $390.00 per trip.

20. Existing structural issues

Dulles Glass is not responsible for any existing structural issues that may interfere with the installation and/or lead to unsightly reveals. Any or all structural modifications that may arise before, during, or after the glass installation are explicitly the customer's responsibility.

21. Material Tolerances

Industry tolerances apply to thickness, size (+/- 1/8"), texture, and performance standards. All materials will meet industry tolerances for color variation, thickness, size, texture, and performance. Any items not listed in the bid proposal are excluded, and changes to hardware or materials may require a written Change Order with adjusted pricing.

22. Dulles Glass is not responsible for

Design changes or flaws that affect permits or cause issues with their systems. The proposal is based on work designed by others, and any design changes require a Signed Change Order and separate invoicing. Dulles Glass will not be responsible for discrepancies in customer provided sizes and If Dulles Glass provides labor to install customer provided materials Dulles Glass is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of these materials or damages caused from their installation or use to surrounding surfaces.

23. Stud Placement for Shower Door Installation

DG recommends installing shower door hinges and clamps on studs. DG cannot be held liable for inaccuracies caused by wiring, plumbing, or other obstructions.

24. Metal Finishing Variations

Metal finishes may have slight variations in appearance, which are industry-accepted standards. For precise color matching, inquire about custom plating or powder coating services.

25. Returns and Restocking

Custom-made products are final sale and cannot be returned after 24 hours of placing the order. In-stock product returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee/handling charge unless the Goods are proven to be non-conforming.

26. Showroom Pick-ups

Showroom Pick-ups and Shipping : All orders are to be paid in full prior to submitting.

27. Special Orders

A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the order. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick up, delivery, or installation. Specialty items from outside vendors may require larger than 50%deposit with balance due paid in order to ship.

28. Change orders

Signed Change Orders must be received and approved prior to any additional work being performed and it is understood that these may affect completion schedules and costs, Changes to hardware or materials that necessitate a written Change Order may potentially lead to adjustments in pricing. Evening or weekend work must be approved through a Change Order.

29. Inspection

Please inspect all glass, mirror, and hardware products upon pickup, delivery, or installation. Dulles Glass is not responsible for damages or issues that occur once they depart the store premises or have been accepted following delivery or installation. For shipped or freight items, it is imperative to conduct a thorough inspection upon receipt. Any concerns or damages must be promptly reported to Dulles Glass within 24 hours of receiving the items.

30. Packing and Loading

Items up to 48" x 48" will be wrapped in brown paper, but larger sizes won't be packed or wrapped unless requested and paid for additionally. You are responsible for loading materials into your vehicle, and DG cannot assist with loading. Dulles Glass will not hold items over 30 days. After this time they are subject to be discarded and no refunds will be issued.

31. Freight (Common Carrier) shipments

Curbside Delivery with a maximum holding period of 30 days from the order date. Failure to pick up the order within this time may result in discarding or restocking.

32. Warranty

To learn more about warranty details, please visit www.dullesglass.com or get in touch with your dedicated sales representative. Dulles Glass provides a three-year warranty for all residential shower door installations. Repairs during this warranty period are covered for 90 days, while the original warranty term remains unaffected. The warranty period for plastics, sweeps, silicone, aluminum material and caulking is one year. Our standard warranty includes one year for workmanship and commercial installation. Five years for aluminum standard finish and insulated glass seal failure. Please note that Dulles Glass does not offer warranty on insulated units larger than 49 square feet.

33. Litigation

Contractor/Owner agrees to assign recovery rights, including attorneys' fees and litigation costs, to Dulles Glass. This proposal and its addendums constitute the entire agreement and can only be amended through a written document executed by all parties. Contractor/Owner agrees to personal jurisdiction in Virginia, and any litigation will be in the County of Prince William, Virginia. Interest of 6% per month will be charged on unpaid amounts, and the Contractor/Owner is responsible for collection costs, including attorney's fees. In the event of nonpayment, the customer agrees to pay all collection costs, including attorney's or collection agent's fees, and a $35.00 fee for each returned check.

34. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Dulles Glass reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions with changes becoming effective upon approval and signature by two or more DG managers. Terms of this agreement supersede any other signed or verbal agreement between parties entering this agreement.

35. Payment Terms

Upon acceptance of the quoted price, a 50% deposit for materials and labor is required. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, charged to the original payment method unless other arrangements are made. Orders under $500.00 total are to be paid in full at time of order. Dulles Glass reserves the right to cease work if there is nonpayment, with five days' notice to the Contractor/Owner. If a contractor asserts non payment from the property owner Dulles Glass reserves the right to contact the property owner.
