There are many types of glass shower doors. If you are considering upgrading your shower doors, the choices available might seem bewildering at first, but Dulles Glass takes the mystery out of the equation by helping you find the perfect shower door. We offer a variety of choices to suit your functional and aesthetic needs.
Most of our showers are frameless glass shower doors, which allow light into your bath or shower area and are modern-looking. They’re also very easy to clean since they don’t have frames that collect grime and deposits. For any of our frameless shower styles, you can choose the types of glass and hardware that fit your style.
Our single glass shower doors are perfect for stall showers, walk-in showers, curbless showers, or showers that are surrounded by fixed walls. We also offer sliding shower doors. These can go over bathtubs, stalls, and enclosures. They’re perfect for when your bathroom doesn't have enough clearance for a shower door that opens outward.
Curbless showers are becoming more popular lately because they’re great for the elderly or people in wheelchairs, and they’re also really easy to clean. A twist on the walk-in shower, they have a seamless separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom. One of the toughest parts of installing a curbless shower is making sure all the water drains properly. Should yours have a door or not? For an open design concept, some homeowners opt to have a fixed glass panel that's open in lieu of a shower door. Whatever glass shower you choose, Dulles Glass has many shower door and glass options available to choose the look and function perfect for your home.
Dulles Glass Shower Door Installation Areas
We offer customized shower doors, such as glass shower doors that can extend from the floor to ceiling, fit angled corners, and be cut to fit alcoves. We’ll also help you make sure that your shower design accommodates any cutouts like knee walls or half walls. Our glass installers have experience installing shower doors and glass in a variety of spaces.
Neo-angle showers have three sides and two walls, creating a diamond shape. Corner showers have two glass sides and two wall enclosures. Both types give you the option of choosing whether the doors open on the left or right side. You can choose 3/8 or ½ thick glass, and both are 100% customized to your bathroom measurements, so they are perfect if your bathroom has low-slanted ceilings. Corner and neo-angle showers are available in HD glass, frosted, clear, or rain glass. HD glass and clear glass will give you the highest visibility and allow more light to enter from outside the shower or bathtub enclosure, while if you want more privacy you’ll want to choose frosted or rain glass. For a larger shower, you can add an extra panel. If you don't have a lot of clearance for a shower door that opens outward, a sliding door will be the best option. Both neo-angle and corner shower doors are perfect for overcoming low ceilings, slanted ceilings, and tight spaces.
Dulles Glass offers a variety of hardware to make sure you can find the perfect fit. For example, you can complement an earth-tone bathroom with oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Or, if your bathroom is a sleek contemporary design, your new shower doors will pair well with chrome or brushed nickel hardware. Going for a more retro feel? Then take a look at our Victorian or Colonial style hardware. Finally, all shower doors come with a warranty and professional installation.
