Dulles Glass frequently needs highly motivated college interns to work on the marketing team as we continue our growth. This is an incredible opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on marketing experience in a fast-paced startup-like atmosphere. Our casual environment and committed team will inspire and challenge you, while giving you a broad mix of experience.

We are looking for a self-starter to work on the planning & executing of marketing events, social media campaigns, marketing automation and more. This position will directly support the marketing staff and allow you to gain valuable skills in event organization, planning, and execution; social media management; marketing campaign strategy; marketing automation; and other areas.

• Online Marketing
• Blog posts and other content generation
• Social media management, posting and advertising
• Email campaign creation/execution
• SEO and SEM
• Website updates
• Analyzing website data and making recommendations
• Perform other administrative work to support marketing and growth initiatives

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, or related field
• Currently in junior year or higher Required Experience And Skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with event planning, social media (for business purposes), SEO, and list segmentation highly desired
• Experience with a mass email program such as Listrak or Mailchimp
• Experience with WordPress desired
• Experience creating marketing materials such as flyers and invitations a big plus
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe Creative suite is not required, but would be a plus

• Positive, can-do attitude with a strong self-starter drive
• Able to efficiently multitask and prioritize several projects simultaneously
• Able to adapt and handle unexpected requests, while continuing to work independently
• Able to deliver high-quality work under pressure, sometimes with aggressive time constraints
• Reliability and strong judgment – the ability to make decisions on your own
